Privacy Policy

Two groups: product owners (our customers, who sign up for ShareCount) and their customers(people who use the share-to-earn widget on a product owner's pricing page).

Account details (name, email, profile image) via your chosen login provider; your workspace and product settings; and billing metadata handled by Stripe. We never see your full payment card details.

When someone uses the widget, we process their email address, their public X (Twitter) handle and follower count, the public post they shared, and anonymous interaction events. We use this only to verify the share, issue the coupon, and report aggregate analytics to the product owner. Each coupon code is unique and can be redeemed only once.

If you connect Stripe or Polar, we store your scoped API key encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM. We use it solely to create the coupon codes you've configured.

We measure clicks that come back from shared posts using a privacy-preserving redirect. IP addresses are hashed, never stored in the clear, and used only for coarse de-duplication and country-level reporting.

We share data with the processors that make ShareCount work — our hosting (Vercel), database (Neon), error monitoring (Sentry), payments (Stripe), and the X API for verification. We don't sell your data.

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing support@sharecount.app. Deleting your workspace removes your products, campaigns, and associated records.
