Manual codes: honoring SHARE codes at your checkout

ShareCount works end-to-end with no provider key — the customer still gets a SHARE-XXXX-XXXX code by email and on screen. You decide how to honor it at your checkout.
Common patterns
- Create a matching coupon in your billing tool. When the customer signs up, your billing tool will record the redemption — keep an eye on its coupon report alongside the Customers list in ShareCount to reconcile.
- Apply a manual discount at signup.Have your sales/support inbox watch for “I have a code” — the customer can also reply to the email they received the code in.
- Build a redemption form on your site. Use the customer redemption guide as your help page and have your team convert the code to a real discount.
What ShareCount tracks regardless
Even with manual honoring, every issued code, the sharer’s email, the tier earned, the post URL, and reach metrics show up in your dashboard. You don’t lose the analytics by going manual.
