Quick start: your first widget in five minutes
Sign up, add a product, paste the snippet above your pricing table, and start earning shares.
The whole setup is four steps and lives entirely in your dashboard. You don’t need a Stripe or Polar account to get going — you can start with codes you honor yourself and connect a provider later.
- 1Sign up and run the onboarding wizard.
Five quick screens: Welcome → Your product→ Coupons → Embed → Activate. The wizard asks for the product’s name and URL, lets you connect Stripe or Polar (or skip and generate codes locally), and ends at the embed snippet and a Stripe checkout for your subscription.
- 2Use the defaults — or tune them later.
Out of the box you get five sensible reward tiers (Sharer up to Star, from 0 to 50,000+ followers) and a friendly share message. Both are editable on the Reward campaign tab. Brand color, font, logo and copy live on the Appearance tab.
- 3Copy the embed snippet.
From the Embed tab, copy the two-line snippet and paste it on your pricing page above the plans. That’s the whole integration. See Choose your install method if you want a ribbon or a custom trigger instead.
- 4Run a real share.
Open your pricing page, tap the widget, and post a test share from your own X handle. The coupon you earn is the same one your customers will see.
No provider? No problem.
ShareCount runs end-to-end with no Stripe or Polar key. We generate unique codes and email them; you honor them at checkout. Connect a provider later from the Settings tab when you’re ready.
